MASTER STUDENTS RESEARCH TRAINING
This class is taught in English. |

課程目標 |
訓練學生從事科學研究的能力，包括邏輯思考，實驗技術及表達能力。培養學生溝通、說服的技巧，達到學術上自我成長的目的。
The goal of this course is to train students with logical thinking and expression. We also encourage students to involve in discussion in class. |

課程要求 |
- Papers presented should be published after January 2019 in journals ranking in the top 5% in the Plant Sciences category or IF>5.
- Topics of papers to be presented must be submitted to the student-in-chief. The date will be annouced later.
- Slides should be prepared in English.
- A well-organized summary in English of the presented paper must be provided to everyone on Friday of the previous week and printed one on the day of giving the presentation. The supervisor's signature is not mandatory. However, if the completion and readability of the handout is unqualified, the teacher may ask the student to resubmit it next week. A guideline for preparation of the summary is attached.
- In addition to the contents of the presented papers, the following MUST be provided in the talk: (1) A brief introduction to the research topics of the authors; (2) Personal inspiration, critics, and potential future work for the paper.
- Speakers should make sure the computer and the projector work well before the class starts. |
